Crawfordsville Veterans Memorial Park

Our Story
Veterans Memorial Park in Crawfordsville, Indiana, was created to honor the brave men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. It stands as a place of remembrance, education, and community pride.

The park features several historic military artifacts, including a 1969 Huey Helicopter, an M110 Howitzer, an M42 Duster, and a WWII Japanese anti-aircraft gun—each representing different eras of service and sacrifice. At the heart of the park is a granite memorial with a bronze statue of a soldier, and a flag display that proudly symbolizes the freedoms veterans have fought to protect.

A large mural celebrates the history of the U.S. military, and engraved bricks allow visitors to permanently honor loved ones who have served. The park also hosts events and educational programs throughout the year to help preserve the stories and sacrifices of our veterans.
Located on South Washington Street, between Byron Cox Post 72 and the National Guard Armory, the park is open year-round.
